 ASP.NET MVC

• ASP.NET MVC is an open-source web development framework from Microsoft that provides a Model View Controller architecture.

• ASP.net MVC offers an alternative to ASP.net web forms for building web applications.

• It is a part of the .Net platform for building, deploying, and running web apps. You can develop web apps and websites with the help of HTML, CSS, JQuery, Javascript, etc.

Short note on E-Government Architecture

-
Image
1)  Presentation layer The presentation layer identifies and describes the system users, who require access to government information at different capacities, and the channels through which information can be accessed.  During system development, one is required to explicitly identify the government user, the system is intended to serve, and also the means through which this information is to be accessed so that the system can be tailored to meet these requirements. It manages the user’s interface with the system. If a pro- project is to be successful, different stakeholders need to be identified at the beginning, involved in the initial stages and kept involved throughout development and implementation. 2) E-government layer E-government public services utilize very specialized applications that are only available to certain agencies and not all agencies participating in the consortium. The main goal of the e-government layer is to achieve a government that;  does not as...

What is the difference between persistent and transient objects?

Object An object is a real-world entity with certain attributes that makes up the object's structure. Also, an object encapsulates the data code into a single unit which in turn provides data abstraction by hiding the implementation details from the user. Any object has two properties i.e. state & behavior hence, it's similar to the program variable but the object has a complex structure. There are two types of objects: Transient object Persistent object Transient object These objects exist during the execution but destroy once the program terminates.  Transient Objects that have been just instantiated. Transient objects don't have representation and identifier values in the databases. The transient objects will be destroyed by the garbage collector if they don't have any use and reference in the database. In this state, the database has the saved objects Example- An entity from a repository comes under persistent objects Persistent object These objects persist ...

Explain CORBA architecture briefly.

-
Image
ARCHITECTURE OF CORBA The major components that make up the CORBA architecture include the: Interface Definition Language (IDL), Object Request Broker (ORB), The Portable Object Adaptor (POA), Naming Service, and Inter-ORB Protocol (IIOP). Interface Definition languages: CORBA uses the concept of an interface Definition language to implement the services. IDL is a neutral programming language method of defining how a service is implemented. The syntax of this language is independent of any programming language. IDL is used to define an interface, which describes the methods that are available and the parameters that are required when a call is made for a remote object. Object Request Broker (ORB): The foundation of CORBA architecture is based on the Object Request Broker (ORB). The ORB is prime mechanism that acts as a middleware between the client and the server. It provides a heterogeneous environment in which a client can remotely communicate with the server irrespective of t...
